The Lorax Pop-Up by Dr Seuss

This book was originally published in 1971 and my customers buy every copy of it I find.  Now Random House is bringing it back to life.

Robin Corey Books, a division of Random House, sent me a copy of this book for review.  It has been published, so check for a copy at your local bookstore.

The new pop-ups are nothing like the old ones.  It used to be one figure would rise and it was exciting.  Now a whole town can rise and even my husband said:  "Wow!"  (Takes a lot to impress that old man, he's seen it all...)

Being a grandmother's age, I would love to read this book to children.  Not only is the ecological message good, the illustrations push off the page, become 3D, and will keep their interest on the story.

This is a lovely book that would make an excellent present for a young one.  I think it would look good in an Easter Basket, too.  After all, it's very colorful.  This is an impressive book.  Be sure to check it out!

Happy reading.
