Lee Goldberg and William Rabkin have created The Dead Man series, and this novelette is part of the series. If you like creepy stories with a Stephen King flavor, you'll love this series. Mr. Goldberg sent me a copy for review (thank you).
This is the second story in this series that I have read, and they are haunting. The visions they create in your mind when you read these words are not anything you'd like to meet in real life. But if you like horror stories, these are a good example of how to make them work.
An old evil walks this earth and takes its victims along the way. Matt is intimately involved with this evil and wants to stop it. But it is humanely possible?
