Ollie & Mollie by Diane Kredensor

Can Ollie surprise Moon with his next gift?  She's always so good at guessing...

Random House Books for Young Readers has published this book in April and sent me a copy for review (thank you).  Check for a copy at your local bookstore.

This is a different format than usual for a children's picture book.  Sandra Kress takes landscape photos and then the two cats are added.  This works very well, and makes the cats stand out even more than normal.

Ollie and Moon are silly cats who are friends and Ollie likes to do something to surprise her.  The problem is that Moon can somehow guess whatever he's planned.  So he's working hard on offering her something that will surprise her.  It will surprise your little one, too.

This is a charming picture book with photos from Paris that children will enjoy picking up again and again.  Get yourself a copy!

Happy reading.
