Eliza Starts a Rumor by Jane L. Rosen

Eliza dreams up a post for female group alluding to someone being married to a man who isn't true to her.  She never imagined what happened...

Berkley and Net Galley allowed me to read this book for review (thank you).  It will be published June 23rd.

The rumor forces several wives to wonder if their husbands are telling them the truth.  They decide to check then out.  A few of them were not telling the truth.  The wives want to prove their infidelity to get a better settlement in the divorce.

You read about their spy work and who helps them bring a good case to court.

When Eliza realizes her fake rumor has caused divorces, she feels guilty.  But the ladies thank her for making them see the truth.  All because of a post on a bulletin board group...
