Percy the Hunter is going to find jungle animals he can sell to the zoo.
Publishing Push and the author shared a copy with me so I could review this book (thank you). It has been published and you can get a copy now.
The first animal he catches is a fox. She thinks about how she can get out of the cage and tells him if he sets her free, she'll help him hunt. He agrees.
She finds him an elephant, a tiger, a monkey and a hippo. Then they go to the zoo. The gates are locked and no one comes to let them in. Then the animals go into action. The elephant breaks the gates down. The monkey finds the keys to the cages and starts letting animals out...
Percy's dream doesn't come true, and I'm glad. The illustrations are great. Little ones will have fun with this book.
Make sure you watch the snake. He gets around and he wasn't even one of the captured animals...
