These stories are free form. It's a bit like poetry. Some don't seem to make sense but I think how you view the stories has to do with where you are in life. One that seems silly to you might make perfect sense to someone else.
Soft Skull Press sent me an ARC of this book to read for review (thank you). It will be published March 3rd.
My favorite read was The Ice Cream Man. He's on a new job ans establishing his routes. He's looking forward to his first paycheck. Then he finds out he has debt to pay off before he gets it. His customer used to work there. He calls them to verify that. They tell him they can discuss it when he returns. I just love what he does next...
These stories are unusual and a bit odd but they do keep your attention. It was an interesting read.
