In the future you'll want to think seriously before sending your child off to camp. That's where Vess is headed when their ship hits an asteroid body and disintegrates...
IDW Publishing and Edelweiss gave me the opportunity to read and review this book (thank you). It will publish March 10th.
As she watches the other passengers die, she says her final farewells to her family. But when she wakes up again, she's safe. A gigantic, space-faring water bear has grabbed her and is keeping her alive. They get rescued by a spaceship but the being it isn't friendly. As she fights him, she falls and hurts her head. The water bear (who more closely resembles a pink pig) takes her to the hospital on the next planet, she meets a boy she is immediately taken with. He offers her and her bear passage home. She accepts. But he's not a boy. He's a shapeshifting alien that wants to eat them! Will they get away? Will they ever get to go home? Read it and see.
This is a graphic novel with vibrant colors and great imaginations for how the aliens will look. It's a fun read the young adults should enjoy.
