Kat went away to school to become a doctor and now is home and helping her father. But everything is not good at home.
The author and Net Galley let me read this book for review (thank you). It will be published July 26th.
The more she learns about the outlying ranches, the more upset she gets. Innocent people are dying because they are in the way. When she goes out to brace the killers, she takes her ex-Ranger with her and it's a good thing.
This was a good western tale with a slowly growing romance. I really enjoyed the read.
