Bug on a Bike by Chris Monroe
Do you like ladybugs? You'll like this book!
Lerner Publishing Company and Net Galley gave me the opportunity to read this book for review (thank you). It's been published, so check with your local bookstore for a copy.
This is a very cute little tale of a ladybug who takes a long bike ride and picks up friends as she goes along. All the various types of animals ride or walk along in almost single file, following the ladybug. The sweet part about the story is that she is leading them back to her house for a birthday party.
The illustrations are colorful, the animals and bugs are cute and it's fun to watch them at the party. Why not give this as a birthday gift to your little one. Maybe you could buy or make some bugs to attend his/her party. Or dress your little one up as a bug. Have fun with the book and your imagination!
