Goddess Fish Blog Tour and Emily Kimelman sent an ebook of this story to read for review (thank you). This is part of a blog tour with a prize to be given (see below). You can now the buy the book at all those sites that sell ebooks.
This is a rough and tough series. I have only read this current book, but I'll be watching for more by this author. She grabs your attention, keeps the pace of the story up, and adds plot twists and turns that keep taking you in a new direction.
Sydney has friends in high places. They are dangerous friends with lots of money and employees that are not shy about killing. Then there's the fact that she can't be sure Bobby is really a friend; he may be a people user... Sydney herself has become a deadly machine that can hurt people.
When she is called with a new mission, it's a simple "find a missing daughter and return her to her parents task." However, it's not. People start dying around her and then she suddenly gets framed for murder. She tries to deal with it herself, but finds she needs more help.
I really enjoyed the fast action, the odd characters, and how, by chance, she finds a man she connects with. There are no guarantees on how the romance comes out, but I'd love to see Dan in future books, too. He has some unusual talents. If you read this one, you won't be bored. You also might want to pick up the earlier ones so you can read them in sequence. Sydney doesn't have an easy life...
Emily
will be awarding a hand blown pint glass that her husband (a third generation
glassblower) made for the launch of her first novel, UNLEASHED, to a randomly
drawn commenter during the tour.
Emily will
also be awarding a hand blown pint glass to two randomly drawn hosts. (I'm hoping I win one of these! Did you notice the paw print?)
Follow the tour and comment; the more
you comment, the better your chances of winning. The tour dates can be found

Happy reading.

Sounds like an exciting story! I like some action with my romance, especially when the heroine is actively involved rather than just tagging along with the hero.
