Crocheted a scarf for my Mom...

She's in assisted living now, and my sister-in-law got her a new coat. I decided to whip up a scarf for her.

After all, when she was going to the assisted living unit, she refused to leave until she got her laprobe I made her to take with her. Almost like Linus and his blanket...

This is washable and has some mohair in it:

I think she'll like it.

JoAnn,

What a lovely scarf. There is nothing so nice as something homemade with love. I am sure your mother will treasure it. You sound so thoughtful and caring, understanding what will bring her comfort.

Aww..what a cozy looking scarf, and the colours are beautiful! I love home-made goodies like this. I'm more of a paper-crafter myself (scrapbooks/cards), but my daughter (age 11) has learned to finger-knit,and my MIL can knit or crochet just about anything. Your mom's a lucky gal!
