She really really wants a dog, so she goes to the animal shelter. He shows her all kinds of animals. Finally she stops him and asks if he has any dogs.
Dial Books and Edelweiss allowed me to read this book for review(thank you). It will be published September 24th.
He tells her no, he doesn't have a dog. That's why he was showing her an aardvark, lizard, goose and more. He begs her not to leave, he has one more to show her. She says OK. He bring it out expecting her to turn that animal down, too. She looks it over and says yes.
You'll never guess what she picks!
This is good picture book for any child who likes animals. I just hope they don't bring strange ones home...
