This story is written for young readers who have a good imagination. It's full of magic and shapeshifting as well as danger. I'm not young but this author kept my attention.
The author and Publishing Push gave me the opportunity to read this story for review (thank you). It has been published and you can grab a copy now.
Rose has been adopted and she loves her adoptive parents but she wonders about her real parents. They are now living in the house her parents owned. A local neighbor tells her that her parents were killed in a traffic accident. She doesn't believe him.
When she and her friends visit a cave, she can see the crystals glow and she digs up one to prove it. Then the others dig where she tells them and they find their own. They are sleeping outside in sleeping bags so that's where they hide the crystals. At bedtime they find themselves being transformed into animals. Rose turn into a pink pony that can fly. Her brother becomes a dragon, and all the others are other animals. Then they find themselves in the Crystal Kingdom. It's a lovely place but the Queen next door is determined to take them down. Anyone she captures turns gray and becomes evil.
Will she win the battle? Will Rose find her real parents?
These questions are answered in the book. I found it a good read. Young readers should enjoy it!
