There are aliens planning to invade the earth for its water. The adults have no idea they are out there and the children only find out when they get a strange visitor. The alien that visits them has their planet in danger, too, and they think if they join forces they may overcome the invading force. Will the children join them? They say yes.
The author shared a copy of this book with me for review (thank you). It has been published so you can get a copy now.
This is a very exciting read for young readers. The oldest boy receives the ability to become invisible. The youngest boy can shapeshift. The girl can transport herself and others. They'll need to use these tricks to stay alive when they meet the warring aliens.
The younger boy can be as big as T-Rex or as small as a mouse. The sister can move from danger to a place of safety. Being invisible means the older boy can spy on them and steal their weapons. It's still dangerous.
This is an entertaining read with lots going on and the winning side changing frequently. Who wins in the end? You'll need to read it to see.
