Isabella and the Woodland Walk by Kate Mahoney-Veitch

Isabella gathers up her favorite stuffed animals and goes for a walk with her mother and little brother and grandfather.  She's leading the dog and having a good time.

The author graciously shared more of this series with me for reviews (thank you).  This book has been published and you can grab a copy now.

Their walk is pretty unremarkable except when the dog sees a squirrel and wants to give chase.  So when Isabella finds a downed tree to sit on, she tells her stuffed animals an exciting tale about another walk in the woods.  The most important thought in the story is how everyone needs to stick together so no one gets lost or in trouble'

The illustrations by Sarah-Leigh Wills add to the charm of the story and make it an enjoyable read.
