The Boy, the Boat, and the Beast by Samantha M. Clark

What if you washed up on the beach and didn't know how you go there or where home is?  Could you hind your way home?

Simon & Shuster/Paula Wiseman Book and Edelweiss allowed me to read this book for review (thank you)  It will be published on June 26th.

The only sign of home is a light that shows up every night.  He decides he will find his way back home no matter what.  He doesn't anticipate how hard it will it will be or how much of a challenge it will be but refuses to give up.  Does he have enough fortitude to make it?  Will he or the beast win?

I enjoyed reading this and felt like this boy when small. I've been scared...
