little blue and little yellow by Leo Lionni

This is a lovely board book filled with Mr. Lionni's vibrant artwork.  He can make the most of his illustrations, even if he only uses two colors!

Alfred A Knopf published the board book and sent me a copy for review (thank you).  It has been published, so you can grab a copy now.

With this very charming board book, Mr. Lionni shows young ones how mixing colors can give you different shades.  He uses all the primary colors and makes his story fun for young eyes.

I enjoyed reading this board book and watching the colors change.  It's amazing what you can do with just a few little dots of color...

If you have a budding artist in the family, here's a great book for the little ones.
