One Summer in Whitney Pier by Honourable Maryann Francis, ONS

This is the story of a minister's child.  She doesn't fit in too well with the older kids.  She'd love to play baseball but the kids won't let her.

Nimbus Publishing sent me a copy of this book to read and review (thank you).  It has been published and you can get a copy now.

She helps her folks, they have a potluck, and she gets invited to play on the team!

There are Cuban recipes included.  She shows good will,  patience and integrity.  And she has a great summer!
