Miss Muriel and Other Stories by Ann Petry


This is an anthology of short stories.  Most of them point out the black people ore abused by the white.

Mariner Books Classics and Edelweiss let me read this book (thank you).  It will be published on January 10th.

These stories made me a bit sad.  Too many times prejudice is what influences the outcome of the story.

I grew up with all kinds of folks, never paid attention to skin color.

The stories are  interesting and hold your attention.  Not everyone wins.  But enough do to make it worth reading.
