Little Red Riding Hood and the Dragon by Ying Chang Compestine, illustrated by Joy Ana


Instead of the wolf eating her, it's a dragon in this book...

Abrams Books for Young Readers sent me a copy of this book to read for review (thank you).  It has been published and you can get a copy now.

She loves the red cape her grandmother made her and she wears it everywhere.  When grandma became ill, the girl takes her some medicinal food.

The dragon ate her grandmother and when she comes in to share the food, it eats her, too.

This is the interesting part.  The girl uses the things the dragon ate to pester him.
