Wordy Birdy and his friends are going camping. They pick out their snacks and shelter and on the walk there, Wordy Birdy talks the whole way...
Random House Children's Books and Edelweiss let me read this book for review (thank you). It will be published February 5th.
They get camp ready, eat some snacks and everybody goes to bed except Wordy. He's talked so much he didn't eat so now he catches up on that. Then he notices a cougar approaching. He tells his friends he's coming and he tells the cougar the animals don't taste good. He also tells him lots of other things.
The characters are cute and colorful, and the story is fun to read. This is great book for little ones. I've had some friends who talk as much as this bird so it's believable to me. Why not share this pretty birdy with your young one?
