Proxima Centauri by Farel Dalrymple

Sherwood is stuck on a planet far from home and he very badly wants to get back there.  With other odd prisoners and unknown dangers and he knows he'd do better at home.  Here, he has to fight just to stay alive...

Image Comics and Edelweiss let me read this book for review (thank you).  It will be published tomorrow.

Besides Sherwood, there's "The Scientist" Duke Herzog, Dr. EXT the Time Traveler, the ghost M. Parasol, Shakey the Space Wizard, and Dhog Dahog.  They try to keep Sherwood calm because his temper gets all the strange beings in this world riled up.

This is a space odyssey that starts with issues 1-6 of the comic.  The illustrations are colorful, the characters are interesting, and the fight isn't over yet.  I felt a bit sorry for Sherwood but he has some good friends there and I'm sure he's up to the fight.  Why not hang out with him and share his misadventures for one afternoon?
