Domino Swift is an orphan. Her father owns a garage and she races motorcycles. She does this to win Crush, which makes her cycle faster. She also inhales it herself to make her reflexes faster.
Image Comics sent me a copy of this ebook for review (thank you). It will be published tomorrow.
If you've ever seen the movie "Mad Max", you'll find this graphic story similar. Domino is another road warrior and nothing scares her. That is, nothing scared her until they showed her a friend of hers who had stolen some Crush being punished. They force fed him some Crush and it blew up his body. And she uses it in her inhaler?
It seems that while she looks human, she's not. She is being pestered by a man who wants her to rise to her full potential. She doesn't want to but then he threatens her father.
This series is fast and unusual. I'm not quite sure where the authors are going with it but the illustrations are colorful and the characters are outrageous. I'd read more about Domino. I think she's going to find her way by bits and pieces...
