Amulet Books sent me an ARC of this book for review (thank you). It will be published today.
They can't see what's bothering them but when Jarvis is being held in the air by his pant leg and something crunches on his bicycle helmet, they can tell they're in trouble! It's a good thing he has a pants ejector to save himself!
This is written for middle graders and it's a bit silly, the characters are all odd, and the trolls are ugly. There's lots of action and the creeps have to determine what they are fighting and figure out how to stop them. If they don't, the trolls will eat the people living there and hibernate again.
This author has a good imagination and writes a tale that will keep children reading. You'll also be surprised by what takes the trolls down.
