Finally Seen by Kelly Yang

This is the story of a young Asian girl who is left with Grandmother when her parents and the youngest child go to the US.

Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing sent me an ARE to read for review.  It has been published and you can get a copy now.

She doesn't speak English well and she gets teased by the other kids.  She's shy but learns how to get over that.

She calls her Grandmother but it is expensive so they don't talk long.

She has a hard time in school.  As time goes on, she gets braver and comes out of her shell.

It has a nice ending...
