Lily to the Rescue: Dog Dog Goose W. Bruce Cameron, Jennifer L. Meyer (Illustrated by)

Lily is a rescue dog who dearly loves her little girl. They go to the shelter every day so Lily can visit her friends.  No one expected to find baby geese on the property...

Starscape and Edelweiss let me read this book for review (thank you).  It will be published September 29th.

A fox has scared the mother away, so they are going to rescue the goslings.  The girl puts Lily in the nest to help them calm down.  It works but it doesn't.  She calms them down but they imprint on Lily as their mother!

This is a sweet story with all the animals and everyone adjusting to the various situations.  Lily can't teach them to fly.  How will they learn?  And will her older brother be able to earn enough money to adopt an old dog at the shelter?

This was a fun read that young adults will enjoy.
