Turkey Trouble on the National Mall by Ron Roy

Here is another in the Capital Mysteries series that is just right for Thanksgiving.

Random House Kids sent me this book for review (thank you).  It has been published, so check with your local bookstore for a copy.

This is a Stepping Stone book and is written for ages 6-9.  KC and Marshall are back and are working on saving turkeys this time.  After all, the president pardons his.  Why can't the senators and representatives and other visitors to the white house do the same?

It all works well when KC begins asking folks to pardon their turkeys and they soon have a 100 turkeys "saved".  Imagine their surprise when the turkeys disappear overnight!

These are mellow easy to read stories for young ones.  They'll be amused by KC and Marshall's efforts to find the turkeys and save them.  This book would make a nice read after you've all eaten your turkey dinner.  You know, read and burp.

Happy reading.
