Coogie the Dumpster Cat by Lynda S. Gordon

Coogie wakes up in a dumpster.  He doesn't like it because it smells bad and there is nothing to eat.  Then big hands reach in and take him out.  It's a young man who knows a woman who finds good homes for stray pets.

Indigo River Publishing and Net Galley let me read this book for review (thank you).  It will be published on March 29th.

The kitten is depicted as small with big eyes.  He's picture perfect.  I'd probably keep him if he showed up on my porch.

The woman starts looking for a family for him.  She finds a good one and tells him that but he's distressed.  Can you guess why?
