A Voice for the Everglades : Marjory Stoneman by Douglas Vicki Conrad, Ibon Adarne (Illustrated by), Rachel Yew (Illustrated by) Series: She Made History

This is a nonfiction book about a woman who loved nature and wanted to save the Everglades.  She had hard work ahead of her.  She knew it was a perfect ecosystem but everyone wanted to develop it.

Albert Whitman and Company and Edelweiss allowed me to read this book for review (thank you).  It will be published October 1st.

The environment and the animals all work together to create a perfect environment for them.  You learn about the plants, about the animals and how it works.  It's amazing.

Marjorie did save a section of the Everglades.

I learned some interesting facts in this read.  So will your child.
