They are princesses and princes from various lands that have been kidnapped. They are being gathered together to control them and their kingdoms in the future. But not all of them are giving up without a fight...
Kids Can Press and Edelweiss gave me the opportunity to read this graphic novel for review (thank you). It will be published October 4th.
One princess is going to find her brother who got separated from her. When they pick up a wounded knight, he loses his arm but not his life. She's ready to take his life for what he has done but when he explains he was duped and he's actually on her side, she decides to trust him. That's a good thing. He's going to teach her how to be a warrior.
With a mix of war, blackmail and an abuse of power this is an interesting tale. It has the flavor of Camelot and everyone big and small makes a difference. The princess' companion is an odd fellow, but he sticks with her. As does the rest of the ship's crew. She's a fighter and a winner in their book.
With lots of action, vibrant color graphics and a good ending, this was an entertaining read that should please all ages.
