Did you see the first book published with all the goblins hanging around in their finery (or lack there of) and their impolite actions, suggestions, and various apologies? Even if you have, this anniversary edition is done in a much better binding and there are new letters, new art, and more. Just open the book and you will be hooked...
Abrams Books sent me a copy to read for review (thank you). It has been published and you can pick up a copy now.
Something about Froud's artwork just talks to me. He makes his goblins ugly, short or tall, thin or wide, and many drool. Mr. Berk gives you names, talks about their attributes (or lack of), and interspersed are various letters of apology from the goblins themselves.
It's a silly fun book with lots of entertainment on the pages. I enjoyed meeting the goblins and admiring the artwork. If you have any whimsy in your soul, you'll like this book. It will also make an excellent present for anyone who enjoys fantasy. Pick it up and take a look; I bet you'll like it.
One final thought: I don't think I'd eat their cheese...
