The Condor Song by Darryl Nyznyk

Crooked lawyers, environmentalists, a Disney-like developer, a condor and murder all combine in this story to make a suspense filled action novel.  It all starts when Buck Anderson's niece asks Sean to look into his death.  Sean needs the money, but didn't realize he'd be bucking his old law firm when he takes the case.

PR by the Book sent an ARC of this story for review (thank you).  It is being published this month, so check with your local bookstore for a copy.

Uncle Atti wants to beat Disney's creation by making his project even bigger and better.  That means he's looking at developing an area in the Sierra Nevada Mountains into a ski lodge and more.  It just so happens that Buck died in the same area.  And his wasn't the only body there...

The reason Sean left his old law firm was because they were willing to ignore the type of business their clients had.  Even if it was mob related or done illegally, they didn't care.  He did and had to leave his job.  Now it appears they are involved in this case also.  Where they ignoring more illegal activity?

The author does a nice job describing the mountains and the weather conditions that can change so quickly there.  I found myself siding with Sean and hoping we could find out who was willing to murder for profit.

The story flows well, moves quickly, and kept my interest from beginning to end.  The story is feasible and it's not a happy ending for most.  Sometimes it takes a while before people get what's coming to them.

Here is a special opportunity for you:

**For every copy of the book purchased from Amazon on JULY 1st, Darryl will donate $1 to The Sierra Club.**

Why not help save your own "condor"?

Happy reading.
