The Murder of Roger Ackroyd (The Hercule Poirot Mysteries) by Agatha Christie

Everything was going well until Roger is murdered.  He got stabbed in the back.

Hercule uses his grey cells to figure it out.

There are a lot of people involved and several are suspects.  Who do you think killed him?

Sometimes Hercule has to wade through lies, stories, and more.  But he thinks, asked questions, and doesn't think the one the people think did it.  He sets out to prove it.

The endings is good.  Agatha writes good stories.
