I enjoy Chet who is the dog and talks in the story, too. He and Bernie make a mean team. Bernie is a private investigator.
Bernie is looking up his classmates because Rocket was one of them.
The further along he goes, he finds out that people have changed. A few not for the good.
He gets his life in danger several times. Will he find Rocket and identify the bad guys?
