A bear, a moose and a beaver decide to go for a walk. It starts out like a walk would. Casual sauntering toward the mountain with a bit of chat. But then it changes...
Kids Can Press and Net Galley allowed me to read this book for review (thank you). It's been published so check with your local bookstore for a copy of this picture book.
What changes the walk from casual is the comment why don't we see who can get to the top first? And off they go!
As Lewis Carroll quoted: “The hurrier I go, the behinder I get.” That's what happens with these animals, too. They slip, fall, need help to be saved and and they're worn out in no time. But, they're learning something, too. Teamwork makes it better. If they work together instead of against each other, they accomplish more.
Once they figure that out, they have a very nice walk up the mountain together!
