Hunted By Emlyn Rees
Danny is an independent contractor. He used to work for the CIA but when an enemy kills almost all his own family, he leaves their service. He only has two people in life that he trusts; one of them has betrayed him...
Witness Impulse and Edelweiss gave me the opportunity to read an ebook of this story. It has just been published, so you can grab a copy wherever ebooks are sold.
Danny goes in a fancy hotel for an assignment and wakes up in different clothes with an assault rifle in his hands. He's been framed. He has no choice; he's on the run.
The whole story is about Danny trying to stay ahead of the police and the people who set him up. No place is safe, he can trust no one, and many of his old contacts are dead. Where to run and where to try to hide is questionable, but he tries.
Suddenly Danny realizes they will go after his surviving daughter to force his hand. He has what they want and they intend to get it back. People are dying right and left, Danny is fighting for his life and his daughter, and no one is really winning.
It's fast paced, full of tension and regrets, and Danny and daughter survive. But the bad guys do, too, so you can bet there will be a sequel to this book. Trust me, you won't be bored...
Happy reading.
