The Beautiful and the Wild by Peggy Townsend

This was an exciting book.  She married a man who she loved but then found out he had two other women.  She wanted to divorce him but he wouldn't allow it and locked her in a building.

Several people got killed, she escaped with Xander and Ruby, little boys.  Her husband was killed.

You never knew what was going to happen....

Books for Benjamin by R.G. de Rouen

This was fun picture book.  While the other worms ate spoiled food, Benjamin likes to read.

He read all he could but often ran out of new books.  Then a girl finds him and sees he can read.  She takes him to the library of congress where there are a lot of books.

Benjamin is in heaven...

The Further Adventures of Solo - The World's Most Dangerous Dog by J R R Langley

Solo is a dog.  He saves a dog named Goldie with the help from his friend, the horse.

He gets in and out of trouble.  His dad tries to entertain him and the children love him.

But he still gets in trouble.

It was a good book and he survives...

Violets and Vengeance by Sue Hollowell

This was a good read.  It's a cozy mystery and not too long.

The lady on the council is ready to place houses by cutting down trees.  Chole wants to stop her.

The mystery is why Violet died.  She was strangulated.

The project was stopped and they found the killer.  

You'll like it too.

A Shourd for Delilah by Anthea Fraser

Women are being killed.  The cops have no clues...

It was a series of murders, and they kept happening.  

I was surprised by the killer.  It was a good story.  Try it, you'll like it!

Summer at the Art Café: An inspiringly enjoyable read, full of romance and friendship by Sue McDonagh

Lucy's marriage is on the rocks.  He tells her what to do and puts her down all the time.  She is ready to divorce him.

Then she meets a  new man that she likes.  And he likes her.

It takes a while to fall in love.

The story has some romance and a good ending.  Read it if you like romance...

THE BEACH HUT MURDERS an absolutely gripping cozy mystery filled with twists and turns (The Charity Shop Detective Agency Mysteries Book 2) by PETER BOLAND

This was a good read.  It starts with a beach hut burning and the man dying from smoke inhalation.  Then another beach hut burned but the lady who owned it wasn't there that night.

As the beach huts burn down, the three ladies look at the tapes to see who did it.  No one was there,,,

They begin to search for the killer.  They have a list of suspects.  

I was surprised by who did it and how they did it.  I bet you will be, too!

The ladies were warned not to keep looking but didn't listen.  Soon they are in trouble...
