This was a fun book to read.  The author gives two choices and what the girl does is demonstrate both throughout the book.

The choices are tough.  The illustrations are lovely.

She has fun with her choices.  She enjoys being me.

Myrtle, Means, and Opportunity (Myrtle Hardcastle Mystery 5) by Elizabeth C. Bunce

This was an interesting read.  They are stuck on an island and people are dying.

Two sets of people want the castle on the island.  They are looking for a broach that will help them keep the island.

As people are killed and they can't leave the island, it gets more and more dangerous.

This was an interesting story.  They are making things for others to eat but they get tired of them.

You never know how things are going to turn out!

Their father gets kidnapped and they go looking for him.

The girls were determined to find him and their dog helps them.

It's an adventure that will keep your attention...

The Lost Library by Rebecca Stead; Wendy Mass

This was an interesting mystery.  The library burned down but no one knew why...

There is a boy who wants to solve the mystery.  He looks for an author, snoops for hints.

He's friends with a cat and with mice.  He has a hard search.

You'll never guess who the author is.  And the ending is good.

I enjoyed reading it.

Books Aren't for Bears by Mark Barry

No one told him books weren't for bears.  At first he couldn't read but Mr. Owl taught him.
