This is a happy kid's book.  This litttle girl has a dog that is always happy.  She and her family love the dog.  They play together and every one has fun!

The Wild Card by Renee

This book was a bit boring but I read it all.  It's a New Zealand crime mystery.


Even though it is a small town there is a secret.  Who killed the victim?

It was an interesting read and I was amazed at who did it.  Maybe you can figure it out before I did...

Spell and Spooks by K E O'Conner


This was a three book series.  Each one had witches and ghosts and demons in it.  
It was an interesting read but a little bit boring.

Kindle let me read me read and review it.

It never really ended until the last book.  The witch co-joins her friends and they manage to get Luna back.

Her mother is a ghost and they negotiate getting Luna back and getting her Mom her love.

If you like witches, spells and more, you'll enjoy reading these three books!

Dumb Witness by Agatha Christie


This was a good mystery.  Hercule Poirot spends a lot of time asking questions and trying to find out who killed the lady.

So many people to question and the dog and his ball.  Will he manage to figure it out?

Bob the dog likes to play with his ball!  They start by thinking she may have stepped on his ball on the stairs....

Despite the odds, he manages to find the right person.

Unfortunately, killer commits suicide...

Murder Under the Mistletoe by Sherry Lynn


Kinsley is a suspect in a death.  She didn't do it but ahe's going to have to prove it.

This book will be published on November 7th.

The man who died had arguments with her and others.  She was the last one who fought with him.

They made the place look like Christmas.  Every thing was fine until he died.  The cop thinks Kinsley pushed him in the river.

It takes a lot of questioning by the cop and the suspect to find out what happened.  

I had no idea who the killer was.  Did you?

This was a very interesting book.  The cats talk, the people look for murderers, it keeps you busy until the end.

First they find a man dead.  He wasn't kind and no one liked him so who could have killed him?

The lady searches for the killer and her cop friend does, too.

It's most interesting who the killer is.

The Long Way Back by Nicole Baart


This was a book that had several themes.  You had to read the whole thing to find out how it ended.

Edelweiss and Atria Books let me read this book.  It will be published tomorrow.

Charlie is the mom, Eva the child.  Eva disappears.  Charlie looks for her.  

The group is a separastist.  They want to stop the growth and modern ideas.  Eva has been kidnapped and they want her to join them.  She doesn't agree.  But she meets Zach and wants to marry him.

He loves her, she loves him. Then she finds out she doesn't know him that well.

When she is put in the van and tied up, she knows there is bomb in the back.

Will she survive?

This was different fom what I thought it would be.  It had to do with love and men who left.

Hadley wanted a man but everyone she picked had other women.  

She is a teacher and after so many heartbreaks, she decides to write and let the men go.

Maybe she'll run in to a man who decides he loves her, who knows?

Death in the Highlands by Fliss Chester


Cressidia is invited to the castle for summer vacation.  She is thrilled.

This book was a good read (thank you).  It will be published on June 22nd.

While she is visiting, two men get killed.  She decides to see if she can identify the killer even if the cop wants her to stay out of it.

It takes to the end of the book before the killers are exposed.

There are secret passage ways that allowed the killer to leave the victim there and escape.

Cressidia finds the passages and snoops.  She does get hit in the head and it takes a bit before she can begin again.

The killers were a surprise to me.  Did you figure it out?

This was an interesting story.  One man dies, there are mixed romances, and Jill is trying to find the killer.

Murder in Manhatten by Verity Bright


This story is full of  good, bad and murder.

Lady Eleanor Swift comes from England to New York.  The first thing that happen is that Marty is run over by a car in the road.  She is a nurse but she couldn't save him.

As time goes on another man is killed by car.  She knows no one and hasn't been here before, so she has a time looking for the killer.

It's a good thing she has her butler with her.  He helps her.

She climbs the Statue of Liberty while people are shooting at her.  Soon she can go no further...

She does determine who the killler is.  Now if she can just stay alive...

This was a fun book to read.  They try really hard to catch an elf but Santa helps the elf.

They are friends but the pup has to explain things to the dragon.

They get close to catching an elf but don't manage to do it.

The Crayon Kingdom by Sevgi Chio and Sungho Chio


This was a fun book to read.  The two little ones use their cayons to draw pictures.  When they break, They write on the walls.  That gets them in trouble.

The two youngsters go to bed and dream.  They meet crayons of all sizes, become friends and go to the castle to apologize.  The route to the castle is tough.

Love is in the Bear by Judith Henderson


This is a unique book.  It's the story of a bear and a small bird.

It's a first edition and will be published October 17th.

The bear comes out of hibernation in spring and makes friends with a singing bird.  Soon they want to try a duet.  He's a bass and she is a soprano.  They must practice a lot.

They do but when they go to audition, the bear disappears.

The bird finally finds him and and they have a talk.  Will the bear agree to sing?

This was fun book to read.  There are two young witches and one already has her powers.  The other can't do the things her friend can....

This Kindle book will be published on September 7th.

She gets a present and is excited it will help her.  But it is only a broom!

She eventually learns how to control it and both girls have their witch abilities.

People get killed and Jack tries to figure it out.  Sometimes people help him, sometimes they don't.  How is he to tell the difference?

The Phantom Stallion loves his girl but no one else.  She spends a lot of time looking for him.  She even has to fix his leg.

He wants mares for his herd and gets in a fight with another stallion who tries to take his.

There is man who offers a reward for his mare.  But that's all he will pay for.

The girl finally finds her horse and they stick together.
