It's fun book to read. It's a picture book for young ones.

This was an interesting story.  It was set in Japan and had many different stories.

Cameron uncovers a story of priceless treasure, Samurai protectors, a cryptic message and a deadly weapon. Can he unlock the puzzle that has been waiting for over 300 years?

It takes a tale to find everything.  He made friends with a Japanese boy but had to leave him behind.

The ending is fine.

The Jungle Crew by Emma Scott

This is a picture book that starts with a lion.  As he walks along he adds to his crew.

The more animals, the merrier!  All the animals are different and most of them have their own eccentries.  The lion is the talker and most of the illustrations show you how the animals look.

This is a very good book for young ones.  I enjoyed reading it.  Will you?

A Gentle Murderer by Dorothy Salisbury Davis

The lady was dead.  She was hit with a hammer.  Who did it?

Ben Goldsmith is a cop and is trying to find the killer. The worst part is that no one knows who did it.

As it gets to the end of the book, you will know who did it.  It amazed me.

This is a picture book that has a young boy in it.

The young man is hungry but Viceroy is coming in two hours and they have to feed him

They work on it all together but the young boy gets in the way.  The tray of various goods, goes into into the soup.  

The soup is very popular and the Viceroy really likes it!

Deadly Partners by Christine Green

This was an interesting story.  A woman is found dead.  No one know who did it.

The man who did it was still on the island.  As time goes on, Nigel is missing.  He is not the killer.

It is the end that is telling you who the killer is.  Not someone I would suspect...

The Brittany Murders by Anne Penketh

This was an interesting story.  They had found two murders but didn't know who did it.

One of them died in a slurry pit, the other one was shot.  

It's a twisted story and has politics in it.

There are three bodies in this story.  Who killed them?

Ellie tries to find out who killed them.  The police think that Neil did it but Ellie doesn't.

It's a twisted mystery with the killer in the background.

Who was the killer?

Come again, Pelican by Don Freeman

This was a good story for young ones.

The boy went with his parents to the beach each summer.  This time he made friends with a pelican.

He took his boots off and played in the water.  He didn't notice that the tide was coming in.

He saved one boot but the other got away.  He got it back though.  The pelican got it for him!

Christmas Stalkings by Charlotte MacLeod

This is a book of stories that has death in each story.

I enjoyed reading it.  There are all different authors.

The stories were long and short.  The mystery is who is going to die?

If you like mysteries, this is the book for you.

The Missing Red Carpet Mystery by Rachel Ward

The royal visit is coming to town.  Everyone gets busy to make Kingsleigh look like nice.

A young boy is found dead.  They knew Evan was after him and thought he may have killed him.  That wasn't true but the police are out after Evan...

Evan is hiding.  No one knows where he is.  He talks to Bea for a while and then quits.

They need red carpet but they can't find it.

It's a mess of twists and turns.  

The ending is good.  If you like mysteries, you'll like this book.

This was short stories by Charles Todd.  They are for adults.

I enjoyed reading them.   The stories are good.  Ian and Bess are the main characters.

No matter if you like short stories; these are good.

It has several short stories.  They read easily and then on the next one.

If you like short stories, this one is for you.

The Christchurch Dog show was going well until they find a dead body.  If that wasn't bad enough, they find another dead woman.

The ladies that were there and were friends decide to find out who killed them...

It takes a lot of questions and more than one suspect.

I had no idea who did it but it all came clear at the end.

This was a good mystery.

It has a woman who died and they think it was from natural causes.  But Poirot and his mate don't think so.

Someone poisoned her.

It's a mess and was it her husband?

It takes a while to figure it out.

The Secret Adversary by Agatha Christie

This is Tommy and Tuppence mystery.

First Tommy goes missing.  Tuppence looks for him.

It has lots of twists and turns.

Eventually she finds him and they decide to marry.

It was a good read.

The Man in the Brown Suit by Agatha Christie

This was a good mystery. Agatha writes good mysteries.

There are killers, people who fall in love with Anne, and war.

I'm always trying to find out who the killer was.  Think you can do it?

The Mystery of the Blue Jar and The Witness for the Prosecution by Agatha Christie

These are two stories that make you wonder how she can write books like this.

I enjoyed both stories.  I think you will, too.  Agatha writes good stories.

The Mystery of the Blue Jar was good.  The Witness for the Prosecution is fake.  The woman wants to get rid of her man.

Read it and enjoy it!

MURDER BY BICYCLE by Veronica Heley

Ellie makes quiche but when the crowd eats it several of them get sick.  One dies.

She knows she didn't put anything in it that would do that.  So she decides she will find the killer.

She finds that the killer rides a bike.  There are several people who ride bikes.  Who did it?

It's an interesting mystery.  Everyone thinks Ellie did it but she didn't.

The killer gets rid of everybody she doesn't like.  But she can't get rid of the woman she doesn't like.

As the bodies build up, the group wonders who has done it.

Can you figure out who did it?

Star Passage, Book One, the Relic by Clark Rich Burbidge

This was an exciting book.  It was quite a busy story with Stars that take them like time travelling.  You never know what is coming next.

It keeps you busy reading.  You know it has various time sessions.  They even get to meet George Washington.

It'll keep you reading and wondering what the Stars will do next.  They are wonderful and take you anywhere in the past.

There are two more books in the series.  Read them all.

THE HAYLING ISLAND MURDERS by Pauline Rawson

This was an interesting book.  Three men die and Andy is trying to find out why?

The box that was found in the lake has coins in it that are worth money.

Andy starts a list of those who might be killers.  The worst part is at the end when the killer confesses and then tries to kill Andy.

Who do you think will win?

The Mystery of Mistletoe Hall by Benedict Brown

It starts with one body.  They are snowed in and someone is killing them.  Who is doing it?

Soon there are two more bodies.  Someone is killing them one by one.  Who?

It has to be someone there, but who?

It takes a lot of investigating and the killer is confessing to the woman who is the next one to be killed.

What happens next?

Signed Sealed and Dead by Carolyn Ridder Aspenson

Lily is the investigator (not on purpose) and tries to find the killer.

The chapters are long and there are a lot of people involved.

Lily is the one that the kids don't like and they make some bad words in her driveway.  

She feels she knows the man they took in is not the killer.  The man killed is poisoned by an syringe.

Lily works on finding the killer.  But the killer finds her first.  The only thing that saved her was her dog.

Wolf by Kelly Oliver

This was a wild book.  They didn't like the one professor but he died because of poison.

Then the Russian janitor gets involved.  The paintings were lost.  It took a lot of investigation to figure out who had them.

There were lots of people who got involved and the ending was good.

Missing Mona by Joe Klingler

This story has two Mona's (actually only one)and lots of other characters.  The cops are dirty, too.

As you read along you wonder who killed who, find that counterfit money is there, and a cop is willing to listen.

It will keep your attention.  Do you think you can solve it?

Bittersweet Herbs by Marty Wingate

This was an interesting story.  The woman died and everyone thought it was suicide, but it wasn't.

They looked for the poision she drank but it was gone.

The rest of the book is trying to find the killer.  The chapters are long, but quite readable.

At the end of the book you find out who did it.  I had no idea.  Did you?

MURDER AT LUNA LAKE a traditional Southern cozy murder mystery (Blue Ridge Mountain Cozy Mysteries Book 1) by Cathy Pickens

 A lost wife and no one knows where.  It was an interesting book.

The chapters were long, but they made good reading.

When they find the dead body in Luna Lake, they begin looking for the killer.

The killer surprised me.  Did you have any idea who did it?

CHRISTMAS AT GREENOAK an utterly charming English Christmas mystery (The Potting Shed Mysteries) by MARTY WINGATE

This was a mystery that made you think.  She saw a man that was at the end of the stalls and she bought some of his plants.  But when she went back he wasnt there any more.

She keeps looking for him.  Most of the other vendors didn't see him.  When she found him again, he remembered her.

It's a short story that has lots of twists and turns.  I enjoyed it.

Murder at the Filmore by Zelda White

The Filmore is a hotel with many rooms.  It surprised people when a dead body is found.

He was not the most likeable person but why would somebody kill him?

This is a Virginia Holmes mystery.  She has plenty of brains and starts looking for the killer.

The rest of the book is all about detecting.  Then she gathers everyone together and tells them the name of the murderer.

It was a good read.

MURDER MOST COLD an absolutely gripping cozy mystery full of twists and turns (Smart Woman's Crime Mystery Book 5) by VICTORIA DOWD

This was an interesting read.  The Smart Women got snowed in and someone was killing them.

It was a mystery until the end of the book.  Then they found out that one of them was the killer.

It kept you reading (the chapters are long) and trying to figure out who did it.  I was surprised by who had done it....

Nona's Nerves by Modello Brown

Nona's nerves made her unable to sing during the competition.

She had learned to sing well. but she shrank when when competition time came.

As she watched the others, she decided she would try.  She was the youngest so she was last.  

She went out and sang one note.  Then she began to sing.  She got a standing ovation.  She was proud.

Could you do that?

Kidnap by Philip McCutchan

This was an interesting read.  He agreed to kidnap a boy so he could half the money.  But the man he was doing it with was murdered.

The boy has a big mouth.  He also tries to get away but no luck.

His father will not pay for him.  It turns into such a mess that you don't know what will happen.

It is a fascinating book with the boy being the main item.  Will he escape?

Go Find Daddy by Steve Goble

This was an interesting book.  The litttle girl has cancer and wants to see her daddy.

Mr. Runyon goes looking for her dad but he's hiding and not easy to find.

There are lots of gunshots, assaults and more.

It isn't until the end you find daddy and the girl gets to see him.

It was well worth reading.

Twice Around the Clock by Billie Houston

This was an interesting book.  There are two bodies that have been murdered.

You spend the book reading to find out who killed them.  One man says he did it but he didn't.  

The clues are many and Brent is trying to find out who did it.

This was a mix of Abby looking for a killer that killed two men. They were poisoned.

The cops took her DNA.  She knew she didn't kill them.  But the cops didn't.

Edward fell down from the tree he was putting the star on.  He died.

Then a man who told women what to do died also.

It was a mystery over who did it but Abby finally figured it out.

This was a good mystery.

This was a short story about Christmas.  Sherlock Holmes and Lucy are a team that manages to solve mysteries.

The mine is blown up.  It takes time and effort to open it up again.  But the group manages.

Holmes is in the mine with others when it collasped.  He has an idea who did it.  But when he tells the person the man denies it.  He doesn't mind.  He has evidence.

The ending was good.  Can you figure out who collasped the mine?

The Case of the Missing Finger: A Cruise Ship Cozy Mystery (Ellie Tappet Cruise Ship Mysteries Book 1) Kindle Edition by Cheri Baker (Author)

This was an amazing mystery.  There are missing diamonds, an unattacheted finger in ice.

Ellie is questioning people and watching what they do.  She finally gets it put together and solves the mystery.

It was a good read.  Try it and see what you think...

A Friend for Christmas by Mike Martin

It's Christmas and the tall ones are decorating.  The rabbits are looking for lettuce and carrots.

The rabbits don't want to mix with the cats.  But this kitty is friendly.  Whisper tells the rabbit she wants to be friends.  After running and hiding several times, he decides to talk to her.

For Christmas she gives him a bag of carrots.  His little ones are in heaven!

Mom and Dad are happy, too.  Whisper likes the family and they have a good Christmas!

The Mysterious Affair at Styles by Agatha Christie

This was a mixed up mystery.  Too many people, a murder, and Hercule had to use his brains to find the killer.

With so many suspects and no way to see who was guilty, it took a long time to find the killer.

But Hercule figured it out...

Mayhem in the Mountains by Kelly Oliver

They are stuck in the mountains.  It snowed them in.  They have a dead body - who killed him?

He is a stand in but the person who killed him doesn't know that.

Fiona Figg decides she will find out the truth.  It takes a lot of questioning and searching for the weapon.

She has several suspects.  Which one did it?

The Lemesurier Inheritance by Agatha Christie

This was a short story.  The Lemesurier family has been cursed.  The oldest son is condemed.  They all die.

The families don't like it, even if they have been cursed.  They die from various things.  Hercule is brought in to figure it out.

He is getting close to the killer and with a little help, he gets his killer.

Village in the Dark by Iris Yamashita

This is a story about a place in Alska that is held by women.  The men don't hang out much.

Each chapter is a woman telling her story.  

There is intrigue and mystery.  It was a fairly good read.

The planes started arriving and the men in them had guns.

It was a shoot out that had bad family ties.

This was an interesting book.  Three people died and the Mounted Ranger is trying to find the killer.

Since some of them died by a rock, it was hard to prove.

It's a small village and the people don't all get along.  Some think they are better than others.

The ending is good and the killer is found.  Think you could figure out who it was?

THE WINTER WIDOW an enchanting cozy mystery by CHARLENE WEIR

People keep getting killed.  Since her husband was one of the victims, Susan takes his place.

It takes her a long time to find the killer.  And she almost dies in the investigation.  She thought she knew who did it but she was wrong.

Can you figure it out?

The Adventures of the King of Clubs by Agatha Christie

This is one story that Hercule Poirot features in.  He uses his grey cells to figure out the mystery.

It's not too long and he finds things that set him up well.  

The King of Clubs is the central figure here.

You'll be surprised to find the ending...

A Gentle Murderer by Dorothy Salisbury Davis

This was quite a atory.  There are murders and a cop looking for the killer.

It goes on and on with lots of clues and many questions.  It was a bit long and the killer died, too.

There is Big Tim and Little Tim.  I won't tell you who died, but you find out if you read the book.

It took me two days to read this book.  Maybe you can read faster.

It had an ending that shocked me.

This is the Mighty Moods Series.  He has a Yeti in his tummy, in his legs, in his hair, and more.  It moves...

It's a fun book to read and little ones will like it.

It's 40 pages.  I enjoyed.  You will, too!

Poirot Investigates: Stories (The Hercule Poirot Mysteries) by Agatha Christie

This is a book of short stories.  Hercule figures out what happened each time.

The stories are orginial and keep your attention.  I like Agatha Christie.
