Emmett and Jez by Hannah Shaw, Bev Johnson (Illustrated by)

This is a cute tale and it's based on a true story.  Emmett is small and falls out of the back of the truck transporting him.  He's all alone and scared.

Alladin and Edelweiss let me read this book for review (thank you).  It has been published and you can get a copy now.

A woman finds him and takes him home to her foster family.  He meets Jez, a kitten, who tells him he's a kitten, too.  They become fast friends, sleep together, play and eat together.  But Jez tries to make him behave like a cat and that doesn't work well.

Then Jez is adopted, and Emmett is alone again.  The lady takes him to a farm and he's happy.

Jez and Emmett get a surprise at the end of the book.  It is sweet.

Your little one will like this book!
