Like rabbits?
Random House Children's Books sent me a copy of this board book for review (thank you). This book is available at your local bookstore now.
Phoebe Dunn took the photos in this book to show how the rabbit grows. She has one of the rabbit and a turtle and one of the rabbit with a butterfly, both of which are heartwarming.
This is an introduction to having a rabbit as a pet but it's not an instruction manual. The rabbit wanders off while the child naps and has her own adventures. This was fine in this story but the rabbit might not have been so lucky. Be sure to take good care of any animal you get.
I know a couple who have a pet rabbit in their apartment. They have photos of him snuggling with his people. They also take him to the "Bunny Hop" where he can play with other rabbits. This story was written for small ones, but all ages can enjoy a rabbit. If you have one, give it a pet for me.
