Lerner Publishing Group and Net Galley allowed me to download a copy of this story for review (thank you). It has been published, so check with your local bookstore for a copy.
I've always loved comics. The new graphic novels are a lot like that but have longer tales. Mathieu Bonhomme's illustrations are great and a bit graphic; soldiers, pirates and monsters die in this story.
William is young, unrehearsed at camping or fending for himself and his trip is a challenge. He finds a friendly sheep and travels with it; that keeps his spirits up. Little does he know that the sheep is more than a sheep. Magic, ghosts, monsters, pirates, renegade soldiers and more are along the path William must take to find his sister and his father's spirit. Are you strong enough to walk that path with him?
Happy reading.
